Todays exercise is simple - Pull out those Crayons, Makers or Pencils and colour to your hearts content....add the image to either a card or your layout.

Your Unique Living Space

What we choose to display in our homes are usually our favourite things, from antiques to photographs. Take a fresh look at your living space and ask yourself these questions.

- What are the items that show up over and over again?
- What are teh themes that repeat themselves from room to room?
- What are the colours that you use to reflect your personality?
- What does your living space say about you, your life, where you are in your journey or how you approach the world?
- How can you relate the items you collect in your home to your clothing choices, your friends or your relationships?

Juast as your choice of clothes, jewellery or shoes can give a stranger insight into your personality or character, your living space offers deeper reflection about who you are and what you convey to the world.

Create a Paint Resist Background

Give a colourful, painted area a bit of texture and interest with this quick and easy technique. You can even customize your pattern to suit the subject of your layout

Use a clear or white crayon to draw designs in each column.
Paint over the design with watered down acrylic paint.  When paint is dry, use dry paper towel to rub over the painted area to bring out the crayon design.
Embellish with accents in coordinating hues of the paint colour

Enhance Embellishments for a one of a kind look

Give chipboard accents some extra pizzazz with a glimmery top coat

Create a layered focal point with stamping, title letters, buttons and pearly droplets.

Add impact to paper flowers with a few strokes of glitter glue.
